Tara Winthrop Private Clinic offers a safe haven for their residents 24 hours a day.

They take great pride in the reputation they have built over the past number of years, in the provision of nursing care for their residents.
The Clinic’s Board of Directors consists of Joseph & Sylvia Harford, Mary & Martin McCormack, Rena & Denis Galvin.

The Clinic is within walking distance of the town of Swords, a busy commercial centre with shopping malls, restaurants and a host of other amenities.
Every aspect of care is planned on an individual basis and co-ordinated by the team, together with the resident and their relatives.

Their staff are carefully selected with a view to providing an eclectic mix of skills and talents which enhance daily life for the residents.

Training and development of staff is on-going and regularly reviewed.

The Care Team endeavour at all times to ensure that residents’ needs are met and that all concerns are addressed.

Our Activities Co-ordinator, Mr. Shinto Benedict, oversees structured patient recreation which consists of very lively, imaginative and interesting programmes for our residents.

He also co-ordinates excursions to local shops, theatres, places of interest such as the Zoo, Howth harbour, Skerries harbour, Malahide Castle etc

Leadership comes in many guises. True leadership must have at its core an integrity and a heart.
We expect our Irish Health System, acting as a leader, guide and mentor,
to look to it's people with an outstretched hand.

It should assist and support in every way possible and together we will achieve those very high goals we all deserve

We must always strive for a better health and overall care for everyone.
We must continually challenge our standards of safety and the quality of our health services
