Shrewsbury House Nursing Home is a family run private residential Nursing Home.
The home was founded in 1958 by the present matrons parents.

The home has always been a family run business and the continuity from having three different generations working and running the home together is a major benefit for residents and their families.

The nursing home is staffed by a highly trained team of nurses and carers. The low staff turnover ensures that the residents are familiar with everyone working in the home.

Shrewsbury has an activities coordinator who provides sonnas, bingo, arts and crafts, games, exercise classes, reminisce therapy, hand massage and body massage.

They have regular musical days and sing-a-long sessions. The newspapers are delivered daily.
They also have regular parties for residents birthdays and special occasions, friends and relatives are always made welcome.

Shrewsbury House Nursing Home have a lovely bright and airy dinning room were all their meals are served, with the exception of breakfast which is served in bed.

If residents wish they can have their meals served in their own bed room.

They have 36 residents in 12 single, 7 double and 3 multi rooms. Some of their rooms are ensuite with views of their gardens and courtyard.
