Raheny House was acquired in 1984 by the Garda Siochana Benevolent Society to provide residential care services to retired Gardai and their spouses.
Over time the home opened its doors to all older people in need of care and was acquired by Arbour Care Group in March 2010.

Under the guidance of Nurse Manager, Mary Hanley, the home provides the very best of full nursing care in a friendly and homely environment, whilst at all times ensuring that the dignity, respect and independence of their residents is maintained.

Mary has over 30 years experience and is supported by a team of highly experienced Nurses and carers.

Raheny House Nursing Home is registered for 43 residents of which 6 beds are accommodated in double rooms with the balance in single rooms.

The building is 2 storeys and has a central area which includes the Nurses Station, sitting room, various seating areas, a conservatory and the dining & activities room.

The building boasts a large enclosed and fully secure garden, which is available to their residents for short walks or relaxing when the Irish weather permits.
