Regina House Community Nursing Unit is a single-storey building, which opened in 1972 as a welfare home.

As the dependency levels of the residents increased over the years, the unit became a residential centre for older people.

The centre has places for 33 residents.

There are 23 single bedrooms with no en suite facilities.
One twin and two three-bedded rooms have an en suite toilet and wash-hand basin.

Two single palliative care suites with en suite assisted shower and toilet facilities are provided.

The building is wheelchair accessible with ramps to the front entrance. Adequate parking for staff and visitors is provided to the front of the building.
